"Thanks be to GOD for his indescribable gift."
2 Corinthians 9:15

God, our Father, is the giver of every good and perfect gift, that cometh from above. (James 1:17) There is a gift that surpasses all the rest, and that is the gift of Jesus Christ, God's beloved Son. This verse says that gift is beyond description. We can never fully comprehend with our finite minds what the gift of Jesus Christ means to us or what it cost our Father. That the God of the universe would love and care for us enough to sacrifice His only Son that we might have life is truly beyond our wildest imaginations. To think that he willingly allowed the very ones he wished to save to crucify and murder His child is beyond comprehension. Truly we have been given the indescribable gift of grace through Jesus Christ's death. Our lives should overflow with thanksgiving at the very thought of this gift: a gift we can never fully comprehend; a gift we didn't deserve; a gift we can never repay; a gift for which we can never stop thanking God.

Thank you, Father, for the priceless gift of your Son and the grace you shower on us so freely. We know it cost you much to redeem us and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. AMEN
