"Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you."
Hebrews 13:5 (Deut. 31:6)

We all know what it's like to have been left behind or to have had a family member or friend forsake us, but GOD has made us this promise: that He will never leave us nor forsake us! That means that whether we are high on the mountaintop or deep in the valley of despair, He is there. When our path is lit by the bright-shining sun or when the shadows fall over us, He is there. When we are victorious in battle, or when we fall to our knees in defeat, He is there. He is ALWAYS there. He will never leave us alone. He will never turn His back on us. He will be with us rain or shine. He is there when we fail him and He will see us through anything. He will pick us up when we fall. No matter what the circumstances of our life are. No matter how we react to those circumstances, for there is nothing we can do that will cause Him to leave us. He will be there, for He has said He would never leave us nor forsake us and God keeps His promises!

Oh, Father, how grateful we are that you will never leave us, that we can rest assured of your love for us throughout all eternity. Let us never take for granted this precious gift of belonging to Your family. Make us worthy of being called Your child. We love You, Father. Help us to live in the assurance of Your love for us. Amen
